Friday 11th April - walks **** – Curcuit of Waldringfield –
sunny and warm.
What a lovely day of sunshine and warm too, pushing 20 degrees away from
the coast, I had enough time to do my exercises in the back garden before
we had to take one of our cats, Benny to the vet for a check-up. We then
drove over to Waldringfield to see a friend for lunch in her new cottage
and had baked cheese scones and flatjack:) We had a lovely couple of hours
before Mag and I went for a walk starting in Deben Lane leading to Sandy
Lane with some top trees with cool views down to the Deben! We reach the
footpath down to the marshes by the Deben and followed it back to
Waldringfield past loads of bright yellow gorse, just lovely, we spot a
curlew and gulls, ducks and an egret too:) We past the busy Maybush pub and
there were several familes having fun on the beach, crabbing and paddle
boarding! We then head inland and take the path to the sailing club car
park and realise that the lightning tree has been cut down:( Then back to
the van and we take the scenic route back to Felixstowe after another top
day here in Suffolk!
